Love is Sweets officially began after I decided to make my own wedding and groom's cake. Everyone thought I was crazy but I think doing the cakes helped me deal with the stress of the wedding.
I've always loved to bake, a hobby I attribute to my Nanny (grandma) who had me in the kitchen at an early age. I'll never forget her coconut cream pies!
My first decorated cake was a helicopter I made for my brother Alan when he went into the Army. My first batch of decorated sugar cookies was for my best friend Melissa's lingerie shower.
I've done cakes and cookies for friends and family for the past few years and with the support and encouragement of my husband and family I have decided to bake for the public!
