3rd Annual Clay Jones Legacy Foundation Golf Tournament

The Clay Jones Legacy Foundation has officially set a date for its THIRD ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT. Please mark you calendars for FRIDAY, APRIL 30, 2010 at BUFFALO CREEK GOLF CLUB in ROCKWALL, TEXAS. In early 2010, we will begin seeking team entries for the tournament. Currently, the Foundation members are beginning to work with potential sponsors and donors to ensure a successful tournament. Larger sponsors are offered the chance to enter a team in the tournament, as part of the benefit of serving as a sponsor. Christmas in the Park Bake Sale
December 2009 -- Downtown Forney
Our third Christmas in the Park Bake Sale was another huge success. The bake sale made over $900 towards the Foundation. Despite the very cold day, the patrons were out and shopping. The Foundation had by far the most goods there (also the best tasting also). The Foundation also adopted 5 children from the Angel Tree. A 2 and 5 year old from one family, and a 7, 10, and 11 year old from another. Clothes and toys will be purchased to help them in having a happy holiday.
The Clay Jones Legacy Foundation Adopt a Highway Program
Year Round
The Foundation adopted a 2 mile portion of highway in Forney that runs from American National Bank down towards 548 and 1641. As part of our community involvement mission, the Foundation members meet on a quarterly basis to clean this stretch of road in Forney. Our motto: "Keep Forney Clean" allows the Foundation to show a very visual part of our organization.
